Dallas Candidate Will Run Against Kelly Hastings in GOP Primary on May 8.
Dallas, NC – Charlene High, a Republican candidate for House District 110 has officially filed for the upcoming GOP Primary on May 8.
Below is a statement from Ms. High about her campaign for House District 110:
“Back in December, I announced that I was launching a campaign to listen to the voters in House District 110. Over the last several months, I’ve had the time of my life talking to voters all over the District. I’m thrilled to make my candidacy official today.
As I’ve said from the beginning, I believe competition in political campaigns is healthy. I’ll offer the voters an energetic, positive campaign that’s based on integrity and focused on voters’ concerns as well as solutions for our district.
I’m a conservative Republican so I have strong opinions on social and fiscal issues, but I’ll always be respectful of what voters in the district have to say – about the issues and the candidates in this race.”
In addition to Ms. High’s professional career as a school guidance counselor, she has served as a volunteer chaplain with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Rapid Response Team and is a member of the North Carolina Baptist Singers and Orchestra.
Charlene is member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and is church pianist at Unity Baptist Church Gastonia.
House District 110 includes parts of Gaston and Cleveland counties. Readers who want more information about Charlene High’s campaign can visit www.CharleneHigh.com.
